Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before entering any competition on QuidComps.

Welcome to QuidComps (“we”, “us”, “our”). By entering any competition on our website quidcomps.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility

  1. Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 16 or over.
  2. You must provide accurate personal details including full name, email address, and date of birth.
  3. Employees, contractors, or anyone directly involved in the running of QuidComps competitions are not permitted to enter.

2. How to Enter

  1. Each competition clearly displays:
    • Entry price
    • Maximum ticket cap
    • Maximum tickets per user
    • Scheduled draw date & time
    • Prize description
  2. Entrants may purchase entries via the website using an eligible payment method.
  3. An entry is confirmed once payment is successfully processed and ticket numbers are generated.

3. Smart Draw System

  1. All competitions use our Smart Draw system:
    • The competition will draw at the scheduled date & time or the moment it sells out, whichever occurs first.
    • There are no extensions, no rollovers, and no guaranteed sell-outs.
  2. Winners are selected using a third-party independently verified Random Number Generator (RNG).
  3. We use Random.org signed randomness, which provides:
    • A verifiable signature
    • A serial number / certificate reference
    • A verification method to prove the draw was independent and untampered
  4. Once a draw is completed, the winning ticket number and draw details are published on the competition page.

4. Ticket Allocation

  1. When an order is placed, entries are assigned unique, random ticket numbers within the competition’s ticket cap.
  2. Ticket numbers are not sequential and cannot be chosen by the entrant.
  3. Ticket numbers are shown on the order confirmation page, emailed to the entrant, and visible in the My Account section.

5. Free Entry Route

  1. In order to comply with UK requirements for prize competitions, a free entry route is available.
  2. Entrants may request details of the free entry route by emailing hello@quidcomps.com.
  3. Free entries are treated in exactly the same way as paid entries and are included in the same Smart Draw.

6. Wallet, Cashback & Credits

  1. QuidComps may offer cashback into a user’s QuidComps wallet on qualifying purchases.
  2. Wallet credit:
    • Can be used to enter future competitions on QuidComps
    • Has no cash value outside the platform
    • Cannot be withdrawn, exchanged or transferred to another user
  3. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw cashback or wallet promotions at any time.

7. Prize Fulfilment

  1. Winners are contacted via the email address supplied at checkout.
  2. Physical prizes are normally dispatched on the next day after winner confirmation, unless otherwise stated.
  3. Cash prizes are usually paid by bank transfer or another agreed method within 1 business day of confirmation.

8. Winner Verification

  1. Winners may be required to provide proof of identity (e.g. passport or driving licence) and proof of address.
  2. If the identification does not reasonably match the details used to enter, QuidComps may void the entry and redraw.

9. Refunds & Cancellations

  1. All paid entries are non-refundable once purchased.
  2. If a competition is cancelled by QuidComps, all paid entries will be refunded to the original payment method or wallet.
  3. Incomplete, declined or failed payments do not constitute valid entries.

10. Publicity

  1. By entering a competition, you agree that QuidComps may publish:
    • Your first name
    • The first letter of your surname
    • Your town or city
    • Your winning ticket number and prize
  2. We may request (but do not require) photos or videos of you with your prize for marketing purposes.

11. Entry List Transparency

  1. Each competition includes a live entry list showing:
    • Order ID (partially anonymised)
    • Customer name (first name and partially masked surname)
    • Ticket number (with leading zeros for consistency)
  2. The entry list remains visible on the competition page after the draw is completed for transparency.

12. Fairness & Abuse Prevention

  1. Any attempt to interfere with the website, entry process or draw system (including hacking, automation or abuse) may result in disqualification and account closure.
  2. QuidComps reserves the right to cancel or void entries where we suspect fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms.
  3. Any accounts found breaching maximum ticket rules will have all entries voided & accounts closed down.

13. Liability

  1. QuidComps is not responsible for:
    • Technical failures, website downtime or communication issues
    • Problems caused by payment providers, banks or email services
    • Delays outside our reasonable control (e.g. courier delays)
  2. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

14. Data Protection

  1. We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  2. Personal data is collected and processed only as necessary to operate competitions and manage your account.
  3. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

15. Governing Law

  1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
  2. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
